WHERE WE SELL
Where we work
We sell here most weeks, so the numbers on this page come off our own completions rather than a portal average. Terraces near the centre, older houses with land further out. Tell us a budget and we will say which of those it reaches.

Wells
Wells is a cathedral city small enough to cross on foot, with a market twice a week and fields starting behind the last terrace. The city has no railway station, so buyers here drive: Bristol takes about fifty minutes and the station at Castle Cary twenty-five.

Glastonbury
Glastonbury lives on independent shops and the visitors who walk up the Tor. The town has no station and one main road out to the A39, and the last week of June fills those roads with festival traffic.

Wedmore
Wedmore is a large village on the edge of the Levels, with two pubs and long views over flat farmland. The village school takes children to eleven, then the buses run into Wells for secondary.

Street
Street grew around shoemaking and kept the retail outlet that followed, so the high street stays busy midweek. Housing is newer than in Wells, with more semis than listed walls, and Bristol Airport is forty minutes north.

Croscombe
Croscombe is one long street of stone cottages in the valley between Wells and Shepton Mallet, with a pub and a church and not much else. Few houses come up in a year: Wells is ten minutes by car and the bus between the two towns stops on the main road.

Shepton Mallet
Shepton Mallet is a working market town with cheaper stock than Wells and a high street still finding its feet. The station at Castle Cary is fifteen minutes away with direct trains to Paddington, which is why commuters keep looking here.
